Public Service Project

Impact Day: The Comfort Closet Project

Prince George’s County Public Schools (Community School Program)

In memory of our 27th National President, Cheryl A. Hickmon, twenty-seven community schools in Prince George’s County, Maryland will be equipped with a free store, known as the Comfort Closet.

The Comfort Closet supports students and their families with everyday necessities (e.g., clothes, school supplies, personal hygiene products) “with no judgment, no questions, and easy access.”

We have wish lists set up in Amazon to support the schools and are calling on sorors from each State/Country in the region to sponsor select schools. Select the links below to see the wish lists and the schools your State/Country will sponsor.

When buying each item, please complete a gift receipt with the message as: Delta Sigma Theta for 2022 Impact Day and add your chapter’s name or member-at-large.
